St. Brendan’s GAA Manchester Training

After an early start last year and reaching the County Final in what was a long season for the players, after an extended break St. Brendan’s plan to start training on Sunday 19th February. All players will be notified of the arrangements regarding training with a meeting due to take place after.

St Brendan’s are delighted to have Eugene Duffy (Fermanagh) and Brendan Burke (Mayo) as the senior management team for 2012.

The senior team will play St. Barnabas Nottingham on 4th March in a pre-season challenge game.

St Brendan’s opening fixture is likely to be 25th March in Pennine League Division 1.

St Brendan’s intend on building on last year’s county final appearance and would like to welcome any new players that are interested in joining the club. Players of all abilities are welcome and the club is happy to help out with employment, accommodation and transport of potential players to and from training.

Also, any students or players who are playing at home are more than welcome to come down and train to keep the fitness levels up. If you are interested in joining and would like to find out more, please get in contact via the following:
