St Brendan’s were proud to have six of their players in the Lancashire senior team, which reached the All-Ireland Junior Inter County Semi-Final against Kildare in Newbridge last August. On the day Kildare came out on top by 4 points. With the continued progress that the county side have shown no doubt 2012 will bring more success for the team. The players representing St Brendan’s on that day were club captain John Gibney (Down), Andrew Kane (Down), Stephen Sands (Down), Ciaran Shields (Tyrone) and Gareth Owens (Fermanagh).
