St. Brendan's GAA have been promoting Gaelic football in Manchester since 1959. The club has a proud history and tradition of producing competitive teams within Lancashire and have managed to win numerous trophies including 18 Senior Football Championships. The club competes at senior, junior and underage levels and has players from each of the 4 Irish provinces as well as having many Manchester-born lads. In 2009 St Brendan's were the only club in Manchester to pick up any silverwear as they stormed to Penine League and Wolfe Tone Cup successes, and the 2010 season was a relative success as we retained the Wolfetone Cup as well as getting to the Championship semi-final and the Senior League Final. St Brendan's is an ambitious club looking to consolidate it's position within Lancashire. The club is looking forward to the challenges of the season ahead and aims to progress further. So if you are interested in playing for a thriving and sociable club please get in contact with the club via our contacts.
